Youth Development Corporation (YDC) is a member of Black Network Associates (BNA) a culturally-relevant community and economic development non-profit for Black-owned, -operated, and -oriented establishments throughout the United States. By empowering Black enterprise, public service organizations and affinity groups, BNA fulfills its mission of "all pulling together and in the same direction" to engage in the practice of sustained economics.
The primary goal of practicing group economics or PowerNomics is to draw wealth, income and resources into black communities and make them economically self sufficient and competitive.
Our projects
Ring and Youth Development Corporation share a commitment to creating safe and secure places for families to grow. With the donation of Ring Video Doorbells, Ring and YDC will offer families peace of mind when they’re at home, and when they’re away. The Ring Video Doorbell, equipped with HD video, two-way talk and advanced motion settings, can help supplement neighborhood safety measures and maintain safe communities.
By installing solar on every home build, new owners will enjoy reduced energy bills, and is more efficient as a power backup in case of black outs. It provide an environmentally sound way to reduce our population overall carbon footprint and greenhouse emissions.
Finally all homes come equipped with marble counter tops and high end appliances.
YDC have completed many home build projects and have more on the horizon, our students get real-world practical hands-on experience, under the tool-age of master trainers to ensure quality of work, and student preparation for the workforce.
